Driving our digital development

Serving ROCKWOOL Group with digital expertise, you and your team will ensure a smart and seamless experience in the interactions between internal colleagues, customers, stakeholders and vendors. Digitalization is at the top of the agenda, and you will play a great role in driving our business forward. As you work globally, you will grow and learn from the daily interactions with your team and other stakeholders.


Your future team

You will be based in ROCKWOOL Group’s global IT organization, which consists of more than 250 employees. You will be part of the Digital Architecture team, comprising 11 competent and dedicated Solution Architects. Among them, three architects are specifically focused on Sales and Marketing.

What you will be doing

As Senior Solution Architect, eCommerce, you will take the lead in designing exceptional digital solutions for our customers and business operations, leveraging IT as a significant business differentiator.

You will work closely with the Sales and Marketing processes, target architectures and digital solutions in close collaboration with the Sales and Marketing business stakeholders. Furthermore, you will be a trusted advisor for business management, IT management as well as internal and external service providers.

Your areas of responsibility:

  • Create and maintain target business and digital architecture and roadmaps for Sales and Marketing, that are aligned with the corporate IT landscape and business stakeholders
  • Engage in new ideas and concepts, collect requirements, assess and recommend new solutions, develop business cases and recommend projects and deliveries to management
  • Engage in digital projects to deliver the right quality in the solution design and implementation
  • Engage with the business stakeholders in Group and operational companies to align on requirements and new solutions

What you bring

We imagine that you have a Bachelor or Master’s in Business Administration, Marketing, IT or similar combined with 5-10 years of experience with design and implementation of digital solutions within sales and marketing. You are familiar with solution architecture and process modelling methods. You are curious and have a natural interest in improving IT, process optimization, automation, architecture, digital solutions and how it can benefit the business. Knowledge of standard solutions like Dynamics CRM, InterShop and SAP is a huge plus!

Furthermore, you possess:

  • Prior experience designing and implementing digital solutions within, eCommerce, CRM, Customer Service and similar commercial systems
  • Experience with relevant sales and marketing modules in ERP covering business process analysis, design and configuration
  • Experience of designing complex IT landscapes including data models and integrations
  • Focus on providing for visible business results
  • Great skills within communication and presenting your deliverables and enjoy lucrative collaboration with your stakeholders
