Java developer, Remote/ Central Jutland

On behalf of our client in Central Jutland we are looking for a Java developer. You will join an agile product team of software engineers, product managers and UX designers that all strive to create the best self-service solution for the customers with their main product being our B2B web shop.

The team works with a modern tech stack. Our microservices are primarily based on Java and Spring Boot or TypeScript and use container and FaaS technologies. The cloud infrastructure is developed using CDK and deployed on AWS. The client uses GitHub Actions extensively for our pipelines.

As a team, we are curious and continuously looking at ways to improve our product and how we collaborate. You will be a part of open and inclusive team discussions, where every voice is heard and valued.

Tasks include:
-Drive improvements to our technology stack as well as design, architect and implement new services.
-Bring senior experience in modern software development based on micro service architecture to the table.
-Be a driving force in architectural discussions and software solution implementation.
-Help evolve our infrastructure and pipelines to ensure our team can deliver and maintain our products with confidence.
-Bring your hands-on cloud development experience in play.
-Design solutions in collaboration with engineers in sister teams to identify and solve problems.
-Help shape the system development in general.

Workplace: Central Jutland (Most of the assignment can be conducted remote)
Workload: 100 %
Start: ASAP
Duration: 3 – 6 months (Contract to be extended)

Qualifications:
– Experience with Java developer
– Experience with AWS is an advantage
– An excellent communicator
– Pro-active and self-driven as a person
– Fluent in English written and verbally
